Michael Saylor, the CEO of the largest Bitcoin holding company MicroStrategy, has connected the Lightning Network to his official email address, making it possible for anyone to buy or sell Bitcoin using the email address “saylor@microstrategy.com.”
So @MicroStrategy converted my corporate email address into a #Lightning⚡️ address and people keep sending me 21 sats…🧡 pic.twitter.com/FHde6RtA6N

The Lightning Address protocol, which is layer 2 scaling for Bitcoin, enables the integration of email addresses. As part of the integration process, developers can use the protocol to replace a standard Lightning invoice or payment request with an online identification method like an email address.
By encouraging widespread adoption of Bitcoins, Microstrategy has actively increased its Bitcoin stake. Microstrategy is now a significant Bitcoin holder with 140K BTC after its most recent purchase, making it the largest Bitcoin holder.
Some of Michael Saylor’s followers sent small Bitcoin donations after he revealed that his business email address had been integrated with Lightning Network.
