Binance launches blockchain hub in Georgia to accelerate growth.
Binance is maintaining its leading position in promoting blockchain education around the world through the new launch of a regional hub in the Georgia region, according to a press release, published on Monday, March 27.
Binance exchange has created a web3 hub in Georgia to draw talent to Blockchain, support digital finance education, and fuel the crypto industry. The hub has 25 individuals who integrated with both private and public sectors to coordinate hackathon events and educational programs.
The Binance Regional head, Vladimir Smerkis, stated that the hub has held three community meetups with more than 2,000 people attending.
Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, once met with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, when CZ visited there in November 2022. The meeting highlighted Georgia’s status as a hub for advanced financial technologies.
