Wynn Resorts has applied for a trademark to join Web3 technology via Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and Metaverse, and has filed six trademarks for the term “WYNN” and “DESERT INN”.
The USPTO received an application from Wynn Resorts on March 17, 2023 to provide online retail shop services in the Metaverse.
By connecting to Web3 technology, users will be able to visit the resort hotel, the famous casino, its services, nightclubs for fun, bars, and restaurants.
Additionally, the company intends to offer virtual concerts and shows in connection with a virtual resort hotel or casino, and an online marketplace with an image file containing digital charms. Individuals can buy, sell, and trade these crypto-collectibles.
