Twitter’s social media platform partners with eToro’s social trading platform to make it possible for users to trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, and other financial assets on the Bird App.
According to a CNBC report, Elon Musk’s Twitter will “allow users to view market charts on an expanded range of financial instruments and buy and sell stocks and other assets from eToro.”
An eToro representative claims that a much wider variety of instruments and asset classes will be included in Twitter’s new “cashtags” feature.
By selecting the “view on eToro” option, which takes you to the eToro website, Twitter users will be able to buy and sell assets on the eToro platform starting tomorrow.
Yoni Assia, eToro’s CEO, stated: “There is very high-quality content, real-time content on financial analysis of companies and what’s happening around the world. We believe this partnership will enable us to reach those new audiences [and] connect better the brands of Twitter and eToro.”
