On January 5th at 3 PM CET, the renowned Italian luxury fashion business Prada announced the release of the eighth iteration of the Timecapsule NFT line.
Since December 2019, Prada has made the Timecapsule limited edition clothing accessible for purchase in several nations. The item is sent to the buyer’s house in a customized packaging.
Every month on the first Thursday, a special, very limited-edition item is made available for 24 hours only on the Prada website.
A selection of T-shirts with unique designs by Enzo Ragazzini from his collection from the late 1960s and early 1970s will be offered for the Timecapsule debut throughout the first three months of 2023.
The 37th edition of the Timecapsule collection will include an artwork by Enzo Ragazzini titled INTERFERENZA OTTICA ART PRINT BY ENZO RAGAZZINI 1969 that was created in 1969 for his exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Art in London (ICA) using the optical interference technique and his mechanical inventions.
The front pocket of the poplin shirt has the Prada triangle emblem and the word “JANUARY” on the reverse.
A distinctive NFT that serves as an invitation to join the Prada Crypted Discord NFT group is included with each garment. Like the previous drops, there will only be 50 shirts available for the drop.
An invitation to the Prada Menswear Fall/Winter 2023 catwalk show on January 15 is included in an exclusive Milan event for Prada Timecapsule NFT holders and a guest.
To participate in the drop and watch the runway show, users must have a Prada Time capsule NFT, be a member of the Prada Crypted Discord, and be verified as a holder in the Discord.
