Oasys, a blockchain platform for the gaming industry, has successfully completed the last phase of its mainnet. The leading video game companies SEGA and Ubisoft both serve as validators for the mainnet.
On October 25, first validators seized control of the nodes and guaranteed the seamless functioning of Oasys Layer 1, also known as the Hub-Layer, to kick off the three-step process. This was accomplished by ensuring the smooth operation of the Hub-Layer. After this, the effective completion of the rollup to the Hub-Layer was shown by the incorporation of the Verse-Layer.
Finally, in order to improve the overall quality of the Oasys ecosystem user experience, crucial components of the ecosystem, such as a portal for managing activities inside the Oasys ecosystem, were included.
Oasys was designed exclusively with web3 gaming in mind and was developed over the course of the last year. Republic Capital, Jump Crypto, Crypto.com, Huobi, Kucoin, Gate.io, and Mirana Ventures were among the companies that took part in its private token sale earlier this year. It has also formed partnerships with some of the most well-known names in the gaming industry.
