Adidas, the renowned sportswear and lifestyle brand, has made a significant foray into the world of digital art and blockchain with the launch of “Residency by Adidas.” This innovative program, set to be unveiled during Korea Blockchain Week in Seoul this September, represents a compelling fusion of fashion, digital artistry, and blockchain technology.

“Residency by Adidas” is envisioned as a platform to elevate and empower digital creators, fostering collaborations that may lead to the creation of tangible products in the future. Inaugural Digital Art Sale
As part of its inaugural digital art sale, Adidas will showcase artworks from two accomplished artists, MonkeeMoto and Adra Kandil, who also go by the alias Dear Nostalgia. MonkeeMoto, hailing from Tokyo, brings a wealth of experience in game development and digital concept design to the table.
Adra Kandil, on the other hand, is a Lebanese artist known for her versatility in combining various artistic elements, including photography, collages, typography, and digital montages. Her previous collaborations with esteemed fashion brands like Gucci, Chanel, Cartier, and Roberto Cavalli attest to her creative prowess.
Exclusive Ethereum NFT Artworks
Both MonkeeMoto and Adra Kandil will release a limited number of exclusive Ethereum NFT artworks, with each artist offering just 100 of these highly sought-after pieces. These limited edition NFTs will be available for purchase at a price of 0.15 Ethereum (ETH) each. Importantly, these exclusive NFTs will be accessible only to attendees of the Seoul event, adding an element of exclusivity to the digital art sale.
