Aeropostale has filed a trademark application to enter the web3 space through NFT and Metaverse.
On 24 March, Aeropostale submitted an application for a trademark to the USPTO to sell their products in NFTs.
USPTO Licensed Trademark Attorney – Mike Kondoudis has revealed the trademark appeal on his tweet on March 29. As per the tweet, the clothing retailer has filed trademark applications including “AEROPOSTALE”, “AEROPAX” and “AEROWORLD” to experience the NFT and Metaverse.
Aeropostale has filed a trademark application to present its products for use in the digital world. The initiative will include clothing, footwear, eyewear, bags, art and sporting goods and equipment in a virtual environment.
Brand NFTs will offer authorized multimedia such as artwork, text, audio records and videos. Aeropostale will display all men’s and women’s clothing, and accessories such as undergarments, swimwear, hats, caps, headwear, sleepwear and belts. All products certified by NFT are created for entertainment purposes.
