Polygon Labs launched the Zero-Knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM) on Tuesday, March 27, with Ethereum creator Vitalik Buterin present to initiate the first transaction in the form of a hidden message.
Buterin created the first transaction with Hidden Message Converted to Hex Code during the Polygon zkEVM launch.
Sandeep Nailwal, the co-founder of Polygon Labs, looks excited after the launch as he stresses vitalik’s hidden message: “Millions of constraints for man, unconstrained scalability for mankind” on this official Twitter.
Moreover, Vitalik Buterin implemented the gas limit for transactions on the Ethereum Network to 69,042. This figure refers to the numbers 69 and near around 420 from a famous meme.
Sanket Shah, head of growth at Polygon Labs, addressed Ethereum developer Vitalik Buterin as a “man of culture” in his tweet after setting the limit.
President of Polygon Labs – Ryan Wyatt added “Vitalik Buterin has completed the first transaction on the newly deployed Polygon zkEVM chain.” He further said, “this is the big moment for scaling decentralized protocol to handle our growth.”
