German luxury vehicle manufacturer BMW files NFT and Metaverse-related trademark applications for its logo. The trademark registrations were disclosed by Mike Kondoudis, a trademark attorney who examines Metaverse and NFT trademark filings at the USPTO.
Downloadable multimedia materials authorized by NFTs are included in BMW’s trademark applications. These files may comprise artwork, text, music, or video that features BMW automobiles, among other things. In addition to this, it consists of downloadable computer applications, games, and virtual commodities involving automobiles that can be used in online virtual settings known as the Metaverse.
BMW intends to set up an online retail shop that will sell services related to virtual automobiles and other items, all of which will be validated by means of NFTs and utilized in virtual environments.
