The multinational electronics corporation is seeking Chief Technology Officers to fill positions in two of its divisions: business development and service design.
The first option will establish new companies in blockchain and Web3 technology, in addition to securing collaborations in the international Web3 industry. It is anticipated that the latter would design and create decentralized apps (dApps), in addition to doing research on blockchain and Web3 services.
A working knowledge of blockchain technology and the usefulness of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) is required of applicants for these roles.
In a public statement made in February, LG Electronics revealed that some of its long-term business objectives include the creation and commercialization of blockchain-based software, as well as the trading and brokerage of crypto assets.
