Digital assets data platform Treehouse has acquired NFT analytics platform Origins in a bid to increase their offerings to customers.
Origins boasts a community of more than 10,000 users for its analytics platform, and uses both on-chain and off-chain data to enable traders to make informed decisions.
Following the acquisition, the plan is for Origins’ founding team to join Treehouse and integrate Origins’ technology into Treehouse’s platform.
Treehouse’s customers will in turn receive access to NFT analytics bots, NFT wallet notification systems, and a wallet profiling API, among other tools.
“Treehouse is excited to make this move into NFT analytics. This strategic acquisition underscores our commitment to our clients, many of whom have NFT exposures.
Our team is gearing up to integrate Origins’ system into our flagship product, Hyperion, confident that its technology aligns with our users’ needs and paves the way for us to serve the wider NFT community. Despite the bear market, Treehouse is expanding and is actively looking to acquire synergetic businesses”
-Brandon Goh, CEO of Treehouse
Treehouse’s most recent fundraising came in 2021, when the company raised US$18 million in a seed round. The round included both venture capital firms and strategic investors, including some prominent names in the Web3 industry such as Binance, Jump, and Wintermute. Other investors included Mirana Ventures, Leadblock, and GSR.
David Toh, Partner at Mirana Ventures, expressed confidence in Treehouse’s choice to acquire Origins, saying, “We are proud to support Treehouse in their mission to lay the foundation for deep analytics for the future of a connected, interoperable, and increasingly complex Web3 ecosystem. The combination of Treehouse’s flagship platform, Hyperion, and Origins’ will be game-changing for the industry.”
